1. Who controls your information

Muhammad Usaid Zaheer operates SlugLift and determines how personal information is handled for the service. This Policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, username, email address, account role, registration date, and securely hashed password managed through WordPress.
  • Research activity: search terms, result counts, saved niches, report views, Research Credit balances, and credit ledger activity.
  • Support information: name, email, category, subject, message, ticket status, and the page from which a ticket was submitted.
  • Technical and security information: login/session cookies, browser and device data made available by normal web requests, approximate network information, error logs, and security events.
  • Billing information when Pro launches: subscription status, provider customer/subscription identifiers, invoices, charges, refunds, and related billing metadata. The payment provider will handle full card or bank details; we do not intend to store complete card numbers.

3. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; provide searches, saved items, reports, credits, and exports; operate subscriptions; answer support requests; prevent fraud, abuse, and bulk extraction; diagnose errors; measure and improve product performance; send service notices; and meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute obligations.

Depending on your location, our legal bases may include performing a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent where requested, and compliance with law.

4. Cookies

WordPress and SlugLift use essential cookies for login sessions, authentication, security, form protection, and preferences. Essential cookies are required for account features. If analytics or advertising cookies are added later, the consent experience and this Policy must be updated before they are enabled where consent is required.

5. When information is shared

We may share only the information needed with hosting, email delivery, security, analytics, customer support, and payment service providers acting for the service. Hostinger currently hosts the website. Paddle is the planned merchant of record for future paid checkout. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or during a legitimate business transfer.

We do not sell personal information. We do not authorize service providers to use it for their independent marketing.

6. International processing

The service is operated from Pakistan and may use providers or infrastructure in other countries. Where required, we will use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers.

7. Retention

Account and research data is generally retained while the account remains active. Support tickets and operational logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for support, security, quality, and dispute handling. Billing, tax, fraud, and transaction records may be retained for legally required periods. Data may remain temporarily in backups before scheduled deletion.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards such as access controls, password hashing, secure sessions, nonces, input validation, rate limits, and restricted administrative access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete personal information. You can edit core profile details in Account Settings. For a privacy request, use the Contact page and select “Privacy request.” We may verify your identity before completing the request.

You may cancel a subscription without deleting your account. Account deletion may not remove records that must be kept for legal, billing, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.

10. Children

The service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly create accounts for children.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy when features, providers, laws, or data practices change. The current version and update date will remain on this page.
